Calgary Stampede – The Home of Cowboys and Hotpants!

Calgary Stampede was a complete change, especially after spending most of my time in East Canada, it was a nice change to head out west to cowboy country. I was lucky enough to get to the Calgary Stampede (saturday 13th 2013) and it was incredible. I got to speak to lots of Calgarians and enjoy my first ever rodeo.

This years’ Stampede was held on 5-14th July and last year was the 100th anniversary.
Tickets for the rodeo, which also give you access to the park cost anywhere from $38 – $400 (guess which ones I went for lol). Read more about the day on my blog http://tmblr.co/ZNj8Ruq90WC8.
